ACAP Joins Primary Care Collaborative in Urging Congress to Reject Medicaid Funding Cuts
On April 25, ACAP joined the Primary Care Collaborative in a letter urging Congress to reject proposed Medicaid funding cuts, warning that such cuts would destabilize primary care providers and threaten access to essential health services for millions of Americans with low-incomes, including children, seniors, and rural communities.
The letter also highlights how Medicaid supports efforts to prevent and manage chronic disease and warns that reduced funding would undermine both state innovation and national health goals.
