Kinetik is a tech-enabled services company powering the nation’s first closed-loop healthcare transportation infrastructure. Scheduling, network management, GPS-verified trip execution, billing, and reporting run through a single system of record, so each trip produces audit-ready data at the point of service rather than a record reconciled retroactively across disconnected systems. Health plans choose the level of control that fits the program: full ownership on Kinetik’s platform, shared execution between the plan and Kinetik, or a delegated model in which Kinetik manages the program end to end. Kinetik has processed more than 13 million trips and $1.1 billion in NEMT claims, serving more than 1.5 million members across 44 states through 20+ dispatch partners.
About Kinetik’s SDOH Services:
Kinetik treats transportation as a social determinant of health by building program transparency and fraud, waste, and abuse prevention into the infrastructure itself. Every trip generates a verified, timestamped record, giving health plans real-time visibility into utilization, provider performance, and network capacity instead of a monthly report reconstructed after the fact. Because the data is current, plans intervene while a problem is still correctable: a provider whose on-time performance slips surfaces in-week and members with repeat no-shows can be routed to care management for outreach. Kinetik configures thresholds and alerts to each plan’s own performance standards, which turns trip-level data into an access-to-care lever and connects NEMT directly to the quality and equity measures a plan already reports. This gives health plans the foundation to treat NEMT as a strategic lever for access to care rather than a logistics line item, supporting equity and whole-person health outcomes.
