Modern Medicaid Alliance Statement on Proposed Medicaid Cuts
On May 12, ACAP joined the Modern Medicaid Alliance in issuing a statement in response to newly proposed cuts to Medicaid coverage and benefits for Americans.
The statement reads, in part, “There is no denying that the policies released today, and if passed into law, will lead to millions of Americans losing their Medicaid coverage and threaten access to needed care. These unprecedented cuts to a vital safety net program will leave states on the hook for billions of dollars in additional costs while destabilizing local health care systems.”
