Medicaid & CHIP Congressional Briefing

This virtual congressional briefing was hosted by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP), the Adult Vaccine Access Coalition (AVAC), the Children’s Hospital Association, Community Catalyst, Families USA, First Focus on Children, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

Discussion focused on getting the following five core Medicaid and CHIP policies included into a reconciliation package:

  • 12-month Medicaid and CHIP Continuous Eligibility for Children
  • 12-month Postpartum Medicaid and CHIP Coverage
  • Permanent CHIP
  • Medicaid Reentry
  • Adult Vaccination Access
