Taking care of our clients is at the heart of what we do at Mom’s Meals. This has never been more true than today, when many of us are uneasy about the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Being able to deliver meals to our clients – some of the most vulnerable individuals in the nation – is more important than ever.

Like you, we are keeping up with new daily information about how our healthcare systems (and the nation) are addressing the virus. I’d like to make sure you have access to the information you need from us.

Business Continuity. Mom’s Meals is fully prepared to continue to meet our customers’ needs, including for clients who may have limited ability to leave their homes in the coming monthsWe have been posting updates to our actions for Business Continuity on our website. The latest information is available here: https://www.momsmeals.com/news/press-releases/updated-information-on-covid19-for-plans-agencies-partners-and-prospective-employees/

Information for Clients/Members. We are including information for members in their deliveries about how we are addressing COVID-19 and assured them that we are committed to continuing to deliver their meals during this difficult time. Because we know that many of our deliveries are for older Americans or those with chronic conditions, we have also instructed our drivers in “social distancing,” which means they may leave deliveries right outside clients’ doors. Increasing our Production Volume. Demand for home-delivered meals has greatly increased, as more Americans are being asked to stay home. To address this, we are actively adding new staff, closely monitoring our supply chains, and moving to a modified menu in mid-April. While this modified menu will have fewer meals from which to choose, we will continue to provide a satisfying variety of tasty meals that meet nutritional criteria for key chronic conditions. This action allows us to increase the number of meals we can prepare, package, and deliver each week, enabling us to provide nutritious meals to as many people as possible.
