This Congressional Staff Briefing educated attendees on two ACAP reports regarding the effectiveness of integrating health care and housing services for Medicaid enrollees. Medicaid Safety Net Health Plans are addressing social determinants of health to improve the well-being of Medicaid enrollees and impact rising Medicaid expenditures. The Briefing audience heard from representatives from Medicaid Managed Care Organizations as they discuss housing initiatives that have improved health care in Medicaid.
