Improving Star Ratings for Part D
Given the new weighting system effective with the 2012 Plan Ratings where outcomes and intermediate outcomes measures are weighted three times as heavily as process measures, it's now more important than ever to know how your plan is performing with respect to the patient safety measures and to have clinical programs in place to improve outcomes. This webinar will provide a review of the new Part D star rating weighting system and provide strategies for plans to work with their pharmacy benefit manager to improve star ratings.

Project Management in the Vortex of Health Reform
As if health plans didn’t have enough work to do, health reform brings a whole new set of challenges. Plans are working to comply with interim steps: exchange participation, considering whether and how to participate in the Accountable Care Organization initiatives, and many others. Each such choice – whether regulatory mandate or market opportunity created by reform – will create new projects, possibly many project for a single initiative. To cope, plans must evaluate reform requirements and opportunities, choose how to respond, then set up, plan, and manage projects to implement their choices. Success depends on making the right choices, on creating the right project designs, and on running the projects effectively.
ACAP and Optimetra hosted a Webinar which addressed each of those elements and considered ways in which plans can help optimize their response to health reform through project management methods.
