Stride provides Enhanced Direct Enrollment (EDE) platform services for Health Insurance Marketplace issuers serving Federally-facilitated Exchange (FFE) states and State-Based Exchange states on the Federal Platform (SBE-FP). Using Stride’s EDE platform, consumers can shop, apply and enroll in coverage on an issuer’s website without having to access Stride’s EDE platform uses CMS-supported backend application programming interfaces (APIs) to integrate with the Marketplace, generating the same eligibility determination results as if the consumer accessed directly. Stride’s EDE platform can be customized to reflect an issuer’s branding, so that it blends seamlessly with the rest of the issuer’s website; it also supports both consumer-driven and agent/broker-driven enrollments. Stride’s EDE platform services are fully mobile-enabled so consumers can shop, apply and enroll in coverage using their cell phone or other mobile device.

Stride currently serves over 2 million Americans in all 50 states. Stride has served consumers in the Health Insurance Marketplaces since 2014. As one of just two CMS approved EDE partners for the 2019 Open Enrollment period (the first year EDE was available), Stride is one of the most experienced EDE providers in the industry.
