Foodsmart, formerly Zipongo, is the leading population health provider of telenutrition and digital foodcare services. The Foodsmart platform empowers people to make sustainable changes to eating behavior and health outcomes through its dietary assessment (Nutriquiz) and nutrition counseling, personalized meal planning and custom recommendations for getting food on the table, every day. The Nutriquiz features food insecurity questions from the USDA to identify food insecurity and measure progress. Our FoodsMart also makes it easy and affordable to buy healthy food online or in person, without the influence of processed food advertising. Our FoodsMart features integrations with Walmart, Instacart, and Amazon Fresh, which lets people go from meal planning to grocery ordering in <2 hours. They can also instantly compare prices across platforms for the same basket of groceries (like a Kayak/Priceline for healthy food). Finally, we partner with Grubhub, Plantable, and Sun Basket to provide healthy prepared meals that can be subsidized.

Our platform is supported by a national network of registered dietitians, and has supported over 1,200,000 members and 600 clients in achieving significant nutritional improvement. We serve Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial plans across many community health plans (e.g., CDPHP, Dean, HarvardPilgrim), as well as large plans like Cigna and Aetna. By creating a personalized solution that saves people time and money, we create long term behavior change that is clinically proven to achieve long-term weight loss and biometric improvements such as in A1c and blood pressure. These improvements have led to cost-effectively sustained weight loss and health outcomes improvements, and positive ROI. As a population health solution, we take care of enrollment & engagement, and measure satisfaction (current NPS of 87) so that populations appreciate their plans for offering Foodsmart to them.
