Director of Provider Operations

AlohaCare, a non-profit health plan company in Honolulu, is seeking a Director of Provider Operations with in-depth knowledge and experience with Medicaid and Medicare managed care programs, along with a passion for helping our community’s underserved population to provide quality healthcare.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing and fostering a provider network, through effective leadership and management of provider services and operations. Will collaborate with all operational functions such as claims, finance, information systems, credentialing, and compliance. Will build and manage to a strong infrastructure and control processes, while deploying best practices aimed at growth in external relationships to assure access to high quality providers and healthcare services for all members. A mission driven leader with a flair for excellence in service and building community and industry partnerships.

Bachelor’s degree in Health, Business, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred. 5-7 years management experience in network development, provider relations and/or contracting in a managed care organization and/or provider organization required. Direct experience in Hawaii state required. Minimum 5 years Medicare/Medicaid operations experience with minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
