ACAP Adds Seven New Member Plans

ACAP ADDS SEVEN NEW MEMBER PLANS
WASHINGTON—The Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) today announced that the organization had added seven new plans to its membership.
ACAP now represents 65 plans which collectively serve more than 20 million people across 28 states through Medicaid, CHIP, Medicare, Marketplace, and other publicly-supported health coverage programs.
Among ACAP’s new members in 2019:
- Alliance Health, known formerly as Alliance Behavioral Health, offers publicly funded healthcare for citizens in four counties in central North Carolina. They offer coverage to more than 439,000 Medicaid-eligible and uninsured individuals. Their extensive network works with over 2,000 private providers.
- Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative (CGHC) joins ACAP as a partner plan. The plan provides health insurance to people who have been traditionally underserved by health insurance companies, including individuals, small employers and non-profits. Based in Brookfield, Wisconsin, CGHC serves 20 counties in the state.
- Health Partners Plans offers Health Partners Medicare, Health Partners (Medicaid) and KidzPartners (CHIP) in southeastern Pennsylvania. They provide services to almost 266,000 members and take pride in being one of the few hospital-owned plans in the country.
- Montana Health CO-OP joins ACAP as a partner plan. The member-run CO-OP operates in both Montana and Idaho and has over 35,000 members. They provide Marketplace plans to individuals and families.
- My Choice Family Care serves more than 8,700 members with long-term care supports and services, covering 26 counties in Wisconsin.
- Parkland Community Health Plan is locally owned and operated, offering Medicaid, CHIP and CHIP Perinate services around Dallas and six other surrounding counties in Texas. They serve more than 187,000 lives.
- University of Utah Health Plans provides medical, mental health and pharmacy benefits to members through Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and fully and self-insured employer groups, individuals and families.
