Dear Ms. Borzi:
The Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) represents 57 not-for-profit, community-based Safety Net Health Plans located in 26 states. Our member plans provide coverage to more than 17 million individuals enrolled in Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Medicare Special Needs Plans for duallyeligible individuals, and Health Insurance Exchanges.
ACAP appreciates the opportunity to have one of our members address the Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Parity Task Force at the listening session held on June 29, 2016. To follow up, we submit this letter to reiterate our comments and recommendations in written form.
